Number Project: Artistic Statement

The series or theme in my project was that all the dominant objects are Nike shoes. The element of texture is mostly being demonstrated. What is most successful about my photographs is the way I was able to capture light in order to make the shoes stand out. An obstacle I overcome was the way I had to set the shoes in order for them to be expose to the sun's light but not enough to make the picture to bright. If I could do my project again, I would change the place of where I took the pictures. Perhaps if I change the location the shoes would be seen from a different perspective.
